Psalm 70
Glory Be
Save Thy servants, who hope in Thee, O my God.
Be unto us, O Lord, a tower of strength, against our enemy.
Let not the enemy prevail against us, nor the son of iniquity injure us anew.
O Lord, deal not with us according to our sins, neither requite us according to our iniquities.
Let us pray for our Sovereign Pontiff, Pope....., may the Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him happy upon the earth, and deliver him not to the will of his enemies.
Let us pray for our benefactors, vouchsafe, O Lord, to reward with eternal life all those who do us good for Thy Name's sake.  Amen.
Let us pray for the faithful departed, eternal rest give unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.  Amen
For our absent brethren, save Thy servants, who hope in Thee, O my God.
Send them help, O Lord, from the holy place, and from Sion protect them.
O Lord, hear my prayers, and let my cry come unto Thee.
The Lord be with you, and with thy spirit.
Let us pray:
O God, whose characteristic is always to have mercy and to spare, receive our humble petition, that we and all Thy servants who are bound by the chains of sin, may by the compassion of Thy goodness mercifully be absolved.
Hear, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the prayer of Thy supplicants, and pardon the sins of those who confess to Thee, that of Thy bounty Thou may grant us pardon and peace.
Out of Thy clemency, O Lord, show Thy unfathomable mercy to us that so Thou may both acquit us of our sins and deliver us from the punishment we deserve for them.
O God, whom sin offends and repentance pacifies, be propitious to the prayers of those who implore Thee and turn aside the scourges of Thy wrath which we deserve for our sins.
Almighty, Eternal God, have mercy on Thy servant Pope...., our Sovereign Pontiff, and direct him according to Thy clemency into the way of everlasting salvation, that by Thy grace he may desire those things that are agreeable to Thee, and perform them with all his strength.
O God, from whom come holy desires, right counsels, and just works, give to Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give, that, our hearts being devoted to Thy commandments, the fear of enemies may be removed, and the times, by Thy protection, may be peaceful.
Inflame, O Lord, our will and our heart with the fire of Thy Holy Spirit so that we may serve Thee with a chaste body, and please Thee with a clean heart.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of Thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, so that by pious prayers they may obtain the pardon which they have always desired.
May Thy inspirations, we beseech Thee, O Lord, precede all our actions, and may Thy assistance constantly accompany them, so that every prayer and work of ours may always begin in Thee and through Thee be completed.
Almighty and Eternal God, who has dominion over the living and the dead and are merciful to all whom Thou foreknow shall be Thine by faith and good works, we humbly beseech Thee that they for whom we intend to pour forth our prayers, whether this present world still detains them in the flesh, or the world to come has already received them out of their bodies, may, through the intercession of all Thy saints, by the clemency of Thy goodness, obtain the remission of all their sins.  Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who lives and reigns with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.  Amen.
The Lord be with you, and with thy spirit.
May the almighty and merciful Lord graciously hear us.  Amen.
And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.
