Method:
On the Cross:
As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea--for they were fishermen. And he said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.’ Immediately they left their nets and followed him. As he went from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed him. -- Matthew 4:18-22
Invitatory Bead:
Almighty God, who gave such grace to your apostle Andrew that he readily obeyed the call of your Son Jesus Christ, and brought his brother with him: Give unto us, who are called by your Word, grace to follow him without delay, and to bring those near to us into his gracious presence; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Cruciform Bead:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. -- Psalm 19:14
Week Beads:
Psalm 19:7-13
1st: The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the LORD are sure, making wise the simple;
2nd: The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eyes;
3rd: The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
4th: More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb.
5th: Moreover by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
6th: But who can detect their errors? Clear me from hidden faults.
7th: Keep back your servant also from the insolent; do not let them have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
Exit Cross:
But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart’ (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.a For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. The scripture says, ‘No one who believes in him will be put to shame.’ -- Romans 10:8-11
