Chaplet of St. Michael, Archangel

History:
One day, St. Michael, Prince of Angels, appeared to a devout servant of God named Antonia d'Astonac.  The Archangel Michael said to her, "I wish to be honoured by 9 salutations corresponding to the 9 Choirs of Angels, consisting of 1 Our Father and 3 Hail Marys for each of the angelic choirs.".  St. Michael went on to promise that anyone who prayed this devotion in his honour would have, when approaching the Holy Altar to receive the Eucharist, an escort of 9 angels chosen by himself from each of the 9 choirs of angels.  In addition, he promised that anyone who recited this devotion daily would be given during his life, Prince Michael's won protection, as well as the continual assistance of all of God's holy angels.
Furthermore, after death, such a one will obtain for himself and his relations deliverance from Purgatory.
